Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery
Located in Goochland, VA, about two hours from the District, picturesque Lickinghole Creek is worth the trek. This farm brewery has hop, barley, strawberry, hay and pumpkin growing, and is adding blueberries, fig, and orange trees - all the better to craft their delicious farmhouse ales, like the recent rosemary-infused Short Pump Saison (6.8 % ABV). The tasting room is open every Friday–Sunday from noon till sunset, and the farm’s perch on one of the highest points in Goochland County makes for spectacular sunsets.
