A variety of apples, all from in state, go through the fermentation process to bring beer drinkers this ale. From Macintosh to Winesap to Gala, the apples result in a tannic and reasonably fruity taste that winds up in a crisp finish. West Coast hops contribute to the brew, which has 6.5% ABV and is reminiscent of being out in the woods.
