Be the Bartender: How to Make the Perfect Mint Julep in 10 Easy Steps |
Step 10 of 10:
Garnish with mint and add a straw. You won't be able to drink out of it without the straw due to the large amount of ice.
Added bonus: If you really want to be official, use a tin cup instead of a glass. The traditional way Mint Julep's are served is in a tin cup with a tray. The idea is you don't want to touch the cup because it would warm up the drink and the ice would melt.
Cheers and enjoy your Mint Julep!
