One of the biggest and best food and beer events in the nation is gearing up for an exciting fifth year, and your chance to attend is coming soon. On 10 AM Mountain Time (noon EDT, 9 AM PDT) on April 5, tickets for Savor: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience will be available to the general public via TicketMaster (members of the American Homebrewers Association and Brewers Association will have early access, with a chance to snag tix as soon as April 3). Check out our video recap of last year's event here.
The festival takes place in the striking grand hall of Washington, D.C.’s National Building Museum over the course of two evenings, June 8 and 9, featuring beers from 74 craft breweries around the country. Expect to enjoy offerings from the likes of Abita, Ommegang, Dogfish Head, Sam Adams, Allagash, Brooklyn Brewery, Flying Dog, New Belgium, Saranac and many more. The sips will be paired with sweet and savory eats by Adam Dulye of San Francisco’s The Monk’s Kettle, along with a team of chefs who specialize in matching up food and brews.
Your $120 ticket brings access to one night of 7:30–11 PM fun, including unlimited sample pours and paired bites (plus tastes from the Choptank Oyster bar and artisan cheeses from the American Cheese Society), plus a commemorative tasting glass and a bottle of a limited edition collab beer from Boulevard Brewing and Sierra Nevada. For an additional $30, you can gain entrance to the private tasting or educational salons.
There’s a limit of four tickets per person, and the event will sell out, so mark your calendars, set your reminders and get ready to click on the morning of April 5.
