Here are some fun statistics below about American drinking habits!
A poll conducted by Harris Interactive of 2379 adults showed that three in ten Americans drink alcohol at least once a week.
The number one choice was beer, followed by wine and vodka respectively. The study showed that folks 21 and older (29%) consumed alcohol at least once a week, 5% who drank daily, and 10% who drank several times a week.
One in five Americans (20%) said they drank alcohol once a month. On the other end of the scale, 22% of Americans say they never drink at all.
Men are also more frequent drinkers than women, as 38% drink once a week compared to the 21% of women polled.
