Game of Thrones & Diageo are already teaming up for the impending release of their Johnnie Walker White Walker scotch — and now, they'll have an entire line of Thrones-themed scotches go to along with it.
Details have finally been released regarding White Walker, which will retail for $36 per bottle and which will be a blend of single malts from Cardhu and Clynelish, two Scottish distilleries which happen to be in the cold, northern area of the country. The bottle itself, when frozen, will use "temperature-sensitive thermochromic ink technology" to display the words "Winter is Here," as an additional surprise for die-hard Thrones fans.
Fans will also be able to choose a house with the new Game of Thrones Single Malt Scotch Whisky Collection, which will pair eight scotches with eight iconic houses (including the Night's Watch). Each scotch is new to the United States, and each one is paired appropriately with a decorated house bottle, as listed below:
House Targaryen: Cardu Gold Reserve ($39.99)
House Tully: The Singleton Glendullan Select ($29.99)
House Stark: Dalwhinnie Winter's Frost ($39.99)
House Lannister: Lagavulin 9 Year Old ($64.99)
House Greyjoy: Talisker Select Reserve ($44.99)
House Baratheon: Royal Lochnagar 12 Year Old ($64.99)
House Tyrell: Clynelish Reserve ($59.99)
The Night's Watch: Oban Little Bay Reserve ($62.99)
White Walker will be released in October, while the complete line will arrive in November, so gear up for the eighth and final season with plenty of beer and scotch to go around.
