NYC-based bar Death & Co., which was a pioneer of the craft cocktail movement, is opening its third location in Los Angeles sometime next year.
The influential cocktail bar, which has also released an eponymous book about cocktails and is known for its creativity and precise, excellent cocktails, opened an extraordinarily popular second location in Denver, which is, according to Eater LA, already making plenty of profit.
Proprietors LLC, the company behind the project, is made up of Alex Day, David Kaplan, and Devon Tarby, and it has secured a spot on L.A.'s Arts District. California residents can expect about 3,000 square feet of space, which will include a secondary bar for private events, a main bar and kitchen, and room for standing and drinking. They'll also offer bar bites and, of course, phenomenal cocktails, so now mixology lovers won't have to travel all the way to New York for Death & Co.'s legendary libations.
