The Sioux Falls, S.D. police department say they arrested a 56 year old man on Sunday for running into a burning house in order to save his beer.
Was he a homebrewer trying to salvage his craft? A dude who is cellaring some ancient European monk brews?
According to police, the man risked his life to save not one, but two cans of Bud Ice Premium after being told repeatedly not to enter the house. Worth it.
The Sioux Police Department confirmed the incident on Twitter with a Spongebob meme, because it is 2017, after all.
The man was charged with one count of obstructing a firefighter and another count of obstructing law enforcement. No one was seriously injured.
