A recent IndieGoGo campaign has resulted in a coffee table with everything you could want: the Sobro Refrigerator Coffee Table. It features a built-in refrigerator door than can fit thirty beers, two USB ports, two outlets, speakers, and LED lights. It connects to your television with BlueTooth and is controlled with a touch-screen surface. For the moment, this ridiculous contraption is only $549, less than your average mid-century Danish teak coffee table.
The campaign had a flex goal of $50,000 but managed to hit 200% of it. The team behind the development of the table also is responsible for the PancakeBot, the “world’s first pancake printer,” which custom prints pancake shapes onto a griddle, something every American needs. The price of the Sobro Refrigerator Coffee Table is set to $1,500 normally, but it’s available for a limited time for $549. If you’re the type who often thinks, “I want a beer, but I also don’t want to miss a second of this game,” then this is clearly the coffee table for you.
