Pop-Up Geeks, a theme bar company hailing from the U.K., has opened a pop-up bar themed around HBO’s wildly popular series Game of Thrones, according to Buzzfeed.
Blood & Wine, which is based on and inspired by both the television series and George R.R. Martin’s (as yet unfinished) series of books, has created a menu focused on the spirits and foods mentioned in both the books and the show, with a drink menu of “infusions” for excited fans. Among other drinks, the bar offers a “Myrish Fire Wine” (white wine, dragon pepper, tomato and chili), a “Black Tar Rum” cocktail (based on the rum Tyrion Lannister drinks while at sea in the books), and an Icelandic vodka made by Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, who plays Ser Gregor Clegane on the show. They also have a menu of 7 wines, which were all sourced to echo ones mentioned and featured on the show.
