Disney isn't exactly known for its drinking spots, but it’s getting a new one. In Disneyland, only the not-so-secret but very exclusive Club 33 sells liquor of any sort. The Magic Kingdom in Disney World Resorts is more lax, with beer and wine at its Be Our Guest restaurant. Now, one of the other Disney World theme parks, Hollywood Studios, is getting a bar.
The bar will be in the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, an incredibly famous attraction with a signature dropping elevator that sends guests directly into the Twilight Zone. While the building, at 199 feet, is the second tallest building in the resort and the story features a restaurant called the Tip Top Club, the bar will neither be on the top 13th floor nor will it share the name of the fictional establishment. It will be on the bottom floor, near the exits, and will serve Hollywood Tower themed drinks.
Guests who are 21 and over will be able to grab a drink here without having to brave the horror of the Twilight Zone or the horror of attraction lines — so next time you take a trip to Disney World, why not prepare yourself for the Tower with a tipple?
