He’s led the world’s most interesting life, but the spokesman for Dos Equis, also known as ‘The Most Interesting Man in the World,’ is passing the torch to another actor.
Though many are familiar with this gentleman’s Dos Equis ad campaign and its catchphrase (“I don’t always drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis”), but most might not know that this character has been played by an actor named Jonathan Goldsmith since 2006. However, in an effort to “contemporize” the campaign, Goldsmith’s life will get way less exciting, as he will be replaced by a presumably younger actor.
There’s no information yet about who will replace Goldsmith, but it’s safe to assume that whoever does will be in for a pretty wild ride.
