Tickets are $80 each, and can be purchased for a 5:30–10 PM session on any of the three event nights. During those four and a half hours, you’ll have the opportunity to sample more than 2,800 beers from around the country, from well-known craft pioneers like Dogfish Head and 21st Amendment to more obscure microbreweries that aren’t usually seen outside of their home states.
The general public can buy tickets online (limit: four tickets per person) through Ticketmaster on Wednesday, July 29 starting at 10 AM Mountain Time (that’s 12 PM EDT, 9 AM PDT). Again, the GABF has sold out in well under an hour for the last six years, so get your clicking finger ready.
If you want an extra leg up, you have until midnight on Sunday, July 19 to become a member of either the American Homebrewers Association ($43 per year) or the Brewers Association ($155+ per year). Members will get access to a special early pre-sale that kicks off online at 10 AM Mountain Time on Tuesday, July 28. Members can also choose to attend a special members-only festival session from 12–4 PM on Saturday, September 26. Additionally, members can purchase tickets to access a special members-only Farm to Table Pavilion featuring special food and beer pairings on both Thursday and Friday nights.
We’ve attended GABF multiple times and have always had a great time. For being so huge, the event is very well organized and curated, and lines for beer move quickly. There’s also plenty of entertainment, both on the show floor and throughout Denver, which turns into even more of a beer mecca during the fest. We wish everyone luck on getting your tickets!
