Held July 22–26 at Tom McCall Waterfront Park, the Oregon Brewers Festival is one of the oldest such events in the country. Enjoy beers from 15 different states and New Zealand in the international tent. Along with sampling, the festival includes live music, food and craft vendors, homebrew demos, and industry displays. There’s also a root beer garden providing complimentary handcrafted root beers to minors and designated drives. Minors are allowed into the festival when accompanied by a parent.
Breweries pouring this year include Alameda, Breakside, Cascade, Deschutes, Lompoc, McMenamins, Portland, Wasatch, and Wild Ride.
The Oregon Brewers Festival is free to attend; no admission fee is charged. However, in order to consume beer, there is a required one-time purchase of the 2015 souvenir 14-oz. polycarbonate tasting glass for $7. Beer is purchased with wooden tokens, which cost $1 each. It takes four tokens for a full glass of beer or one token for a taste. Purchase of the glass and tokens are done on-site.
Gates are open Wednesday through Saturday from 12–9 PM and Sunday from 12–7 PM.
