What an ORDEAL! A Recap of the Oskar Blues Bus Tour 2014 |
Now was the time for our final destination, but instead of getting back on the bus, we boarded the Oskar Blues Trolley for a ride out to the Hops & Heifers Farm for a pig roast and BBQ. Along with slow roasted pig, we dined on mac and cheese, corn on the cob and coleslaw. To wash down all this hardy food, a tub full of Oskar Blues canned beers waited at the entrance to the tent. The choice for dinner was Mama’s Little Yella Pils. After dinner, guests were also able to pet the farm’s goats and pigs and in the distance view the hop strands used in Oskar Blues beers. After the sun went down, bluegrass music and a large bonfire finished the evening.
