Friday evening’s featured event was the Stroll of Steamboat Grand Tasting held along Main Street in downtown Steamboat Springs. While the main tent was on the front lawn of the Routt County Courthouse, guests were allowed to stroll the boulevard visiting various shops and restaurants, each one serving up selected wines from various national and international wineries. Restaurants also served up small bites. Despite a quick rain shower, the event was a huge success. Restaurants included Old Town Pub, Creekside Café, Sweet Pea Market, E3 Chophouse, Carl’s Tavern, Eureka, Mambo Italiano and Low Country Kitchen. (The Miami Heat’s Chris Anderson, AKA Birdman, even made an appearance at the Steamboat Smokehouse.)
