You Can Now Drink Red Wine Out of a Forty, Just in Time for Fall

by The Drink Nation on Sep 11, 2017 in Wine

If you’re mourning the end of rosé-in-a-forty season, don’t worry: Forty Ounce Wines is now producing its first red wine in a forty, just in time for fall.

Sommelier Patrick Cappiello, who runs this line of super-sized wines, created this dry, light-bodied wine that’s perfect for sitting around the campfire, Thanksgiving, or any fall afternoons using Gamay grapes hailing from Northern France. Low in tannins, the wine is designed for all-day easy drinking, so bring a bottle along to a pumpkin carving session or a day spent apple picking.

Only 4,800 cases of this wine were made, so grab yours fast — you can look at the list of stores on their website that have them available — for all your fall adventures.
