Think Pink Breast Cancer Fundraiser, Nov 5

October was National Breast Cancer Awareness month, and several bars hosted events and special drinks to raise money to raise awareness and further research on this all-too-common disease. Unfortunately, cancer doesn’t stop when the calendar turns a page.

On Saturday, November 5, Manayunk’s Southwestern Cactus plays host to Think Pink for Johanna Bahr Neale, an evening put together by Johanna’s brother, Jonathan. A $30 ticket ($35 at the door) scores access to a limited open bar and a buffet of Tex-Mex fare from 9 PM–midnight . Proceeds will go to helping Johanna (who cannot currently work) and also to help fight breast cancer in general. Find out more on the group’s website here.
