Bundle Up: The PHS Pop-Up Beer Garden Returns to the Avenue of the Arts, Feb. 14 - 16
Provided that we’re not all frozen or buried up to our eyeballs in snow, The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society will bring back its wildly popular Pop-Up Beer Garden on the Avenue of the Arts this weekend, giving those left frigid and forlorn by repeated beatings from Old Man Winter’s some much-needed relief from cabin fever.
From Fri., Feb. 14 - Sun., Feb. 16, the garden will be open from 4 - 9 PM. Heated tents with ample seating will be set up, Yards Brewing Company beers will flow, and Brian Hoffman Design’s LED light displays inspired by trees will twinkle.
The three-day revival of the ordinarily summertime-only sanctuary is part of the Flower Bomb events PHS is hosting throughout the city in the runup to the 2014 Philadelphia Flower Show.
