Counting Calories

We recently stumbled across a site that offers information on those seeking more healthful drink choices.

The website www.getdrunknotfat.com shows you a rather thorough listing of assorted liquors and drinks ranked by Brand, ABV (alcohol by volume), Calories per 12oz., as well as Calorie-to-Alcohol ratio. We haven’t gone through and counted exactly how many options are listed, but there are DOZENS of available.

We don’t claim to be the most calorie-conscious in the Drink Philly office, but I can definitely say we’ll give this list a glance if we’re about to do our usual beer, wings, fries, mussels, cheesesteak, pizza and candy bar crawls.

On the topic of calorie-counting in terms of drinking, how often do you count calories when you’re out and about?
