This past June, we had the privilege of attending the fourth annual Savor: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience in Washington, D.C. The nationally-attended event is produced by the Brewers Association, the same folks behind the ultra-popular Great American Beer Fest. Savor D.C. was a complete success, showcasing 144 different craft beers from over 70 independent breweries. In events that ranged from the grand hall bazaar to intimate salons, an immense variety of ales, stouts, lagers, lambics, porters and pilsners were tasted and paired with artisanal cheeses, sushi, oysters, truffles and more. Check out the video for a look at what went down, and keep an eye on the Savor website for 2012 tickets.
