One of New York City’s coolest hot spots is coming to Denver. Death & Co will open a second location in The Ramble Hotel, which is currently under construction in the popular River North District. It will be the bar’s first foray into the Western US.
The Ramble Hotel, an independent three-story hotel, will open in late 2017 with 50 guestrooms, an intimate theatre and bar, retail space and an outdoor courtyard. Opening with the hotel is this popular East Village haunt as the marquee lobby bar. The bar will also provide coffee and breakfast, a reservation only private bar, and the hotel’s room service program.
“We’ve long thought about growing Death & Co but have been understandably careful to do so. I believe the Death & Co DNA can be expanded to a host of different spaces and at The Ramble we’ll be able to show that,” says David Kaplan, Co-founder of Death & Co.
Death & Co is one of only a handful NYC bars credited with creating the contemporary craft cocktail movement since its opening in 2006. The bar has been voted as American’s Best Cocktail and Best Cocktail Menu at Tales of the Cocktail convention. The hotel and bar will be located at 2450 Larimer St., just north of downtown, and will be the first hotel in this artsy and up-and-coming area. Stay tuned to DrinkDenver for information the bar’s grand opening in 2017.
